Electrical QA/QC Lead

MTM Engineering has an exciting new opportunity for a site based Electrical Quality Assurance/Quality Control team lead to join our growing Quality teams across Europe, reporting to the QA Manager.
The Role...
The successful candidate will lead the QA/QC team responsible for inspection and handover of cable installations. The role will be based on a Data Centre project within Amsterdam, with further opportunities elsewhere.

Responsibilities...
Complete inspection of MTM works on cable install, termination and Glanding of LV and MV cables
Maintain inspection records of MTM works using bespoke MTM APP and BIM platforms
Liaise with Client / Electrical contractor on submission of QA Inspection records in a timely manner in line with yellow tag dates
Close out queries on equipment with MTM team and Client which may impact on MTM progress
Work with the QA and Construction team to implement corrective and preventative actions in line with snag lists from MTM bespoke QA App system
Work with the MTM construction team to communicate best practices, mock-ups, first of kinds to ensure consistent quality is achieved
Assist in completion of monthly and weekly QA audits and toolbox talks as required
Manage email and telephone communications as required
Ensure that QA activities are tracked to completion to achieve project deadlines
The Person...
3+ years experience working in a similar role
Self-motivated to ensure that project deadlines are achieved
Ability to work in a fast paced and at times pressurised environment
Strong communication skills
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
Ability to support, manage, lead and enthuse others
The Company Offers...
Work on the basis of rotations - 3 weeks at work, 1 week at home.
All travel provided – flights & transport to the workplace.
